Marble Hill House

London

The Garden

Marble Hill House is the last complete survivor of the elegant villas and gardens that once bordered the Thames between Richmond and Hampton Court in the 18th century.  Set within 60 acres of riverside parkland, its restored historic gardens reflect the taste and design of its original owner, Henrietta Howard, and offer space for rest, reflection and enjoyment of the outdoors.

The Silent Space

We have two silent spaces at Marble Hill: one designed for sitting and resting, and the other for a quiet, uplifting walk.

The Flower Garden is an ideal place to sit and reflect, surrounded by the beauty, colour and vitality of nature.  Pause for a moment, take a deep breath, and enjoy the gentle hum of bees and birds.

For those who prefer to keep moving, head to the eastern edge of the park Woodland Walk and follow a meandering, sheltered path.  With its varied trees and planting, this peaceful route offers a chance to support your wellbeing and enjoy the simple pleasure of being outside.
