Trailing up four acres of hillside on the edge of the majestic Cambrian Mountains, Cae Hir Garden’s bold mix of perennials and wildflowers results in swathes of beautiful and natural colour, punctuated by moments of formality.  Nature and design go hand in hand throughout this unassumingly beautiful Welsh family garden, where visitors are invited to make themselves at home and relax into its glorious sounds, smells and sights.

Our ‘Silent Space’ is at the top of the garden – a beautiful, peaceful spot overlooking the garden and ancient woodland beyond, where buzzards and kites soar, almost at eye level.  A simple bench inside an iron-work structure over which a zealous kiwi clambers gives a feeling of seclusion and comfort while still being open to the elements. This is a spot where peace will come looking for you.
